Caio has earned a Law Degree from the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro (Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro) and has experience in Criminal Procedural Law, specially in the Legal Epistemology and Evidence Law fields of study. He is a researcher of the research project “Evidence under suspicion” (“Prova sob suspeita”) developed by the Institute of Advocacy of the Right to a Defence (Instituto de Defesa do Direito de Defesa – IDDD) and he is a co-author of the section “Relentless evidence” (“A toda prova”) of the bimonthly newsletter Trincheira Democrática from the Bahia Institute of Criminal Procedural Law (Instituto Baiano de Direito Processual Penal).
